Founded in 1874, the San Diego Natural History Museum occupies a 1930s era building in Balboa Park that doubled in size in 2001. The new wing features a state-of-the-art, 300-seat movie theater/lecture hall and the atrium-level Dinosaur Café, which is ably managed by the Cohn Restaurant Group.
