hipsters from all 50 states and more than 60 countries gather together to
conduct the business of surf, skate, snow, swim, and inline and urban
streetwear marketing and merchandising.
Around every corner awaits a gender surplus of eye-candy to
stroke the needs of any palate, as well as a gratuitous sea of tattoos and
other displays of artistic allegiance.

Oceanside Photo & Telescope hosted phoSKATEto on Sunday, November 4, 2007. This unique San Diego event featured pro skaters as well as local skaters showing off their skills. OPT lent out lenses and other photo equipment to aspiring photographers, to promote and support skateboard photography.

Another season, another reason to hit the San Diego Convention Center. The summer leg of the ASR (Action Sports Retailer) expo literally rolled through town September 7-9th, 2007. Foam Magazine's ASR spring runway fashion show highlighted the Saturday afternoon festivities as a slew of gorgeous models strutted about the catwalk, exhibiting both swimwear and apparel for art and music-minded.
In customary San Diego ASR fashion, the beer began to flow at the stroke of 4pm, and in short order, responsibility turned revelry as suits and schoolgirls rocked out to the sounds of Year Long Disaster at the Volcom booth.
