San Diego Padres’ first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and his wife Betsy launched their family foundation – The Adrian & Betsy Gonzalez Foundation – with a celebrity dinner at Acqua Al 2. Padres players took over Acqua Al 2 in Gaslamp, becoming chefs, waiters and bartenders. Among the Padres player attendees were Kevin Kouzmanoff, Nick Hudley, Edgar Gonzalez, and Chase Headly. The cocktails were flowing as usual at The Fleetwood, but instead of having a few beers before going to watch Brian Giles own the field at Petco, Giles was the one pouring your beers while watching you work the room. Along with Giles, Kevin Kouzmanoff and Jake Peavy from the San Diego Padres tended bar with the Charger's Mike Goff and Dielman, with tips to benefit the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.
