San Diego Padres’ first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and his wife Betsy launched their family foundation – The Adrian & Betsy Gonzalez Foundation – with a celebrity dinner at Acqua Al 2. Padres players took over Acqua Al 2 in Gaslamp, becoming chefs, waiters and bartenders. Among the Padres player attendees were Kevin Kouzmanoff, Nick Hudley, Edgar Gonzalez, and Chase Headly. The San Diego County Fair is upon us once again and while world-class entertainment, endless carnival rides, pig races and globally dominating athletes may be a draw for some, the overwhelmingly popular reason to return is the fair food.
